“Webworker Berlin” was initiated by the team of Foundervision in order to make a productive contribution to the innovative and founder-friendly business infrastructure of Berlin.

In 2011, some serious hype began to grow around the startup scene in Berlin. Here, in the emerging European melting pot of creative and technological expertise, it is possible to find the resources for the successful implementation of web-based business. Not only entrepreneurs and investors from around the world have been attracted there as a result, but also their most important customers and employees. Many of todays emerging startup super stars call Berlin their home, including companies like 6Wunderkinder, Wooga and SoundCloud, as well as many others.

Located between the trendy Berlin districts of Kreuzberg and Neukölln is the Umspannwerk Kreuzberg. The loft’s office spaces host a variety of startups and young companies in the Internet industry which call it home. Since 2010, 650 jobs have been created here. In the immediate vicinity are a number of bistros, cafés, beer gardens and restaurants. Besides the excellent location, the old factory building itself has a great deal to offer.

As of March 2012, the Foundervision AG also has a location at the “Umspannwerk Kreuzberg” and offers approximately 1000 m² of professional environment for working and networking as well as a focal point for Berlin's founders and young companies from the Internet industry. This project goes by the name “Webworker Berlin.”
